 Meranda was such an incredible help along the journey of my pregnancy and birth. From the moment she began working with us we felt comfortable and were able to discuss all our concerns and hopes. She was supportive of every desire we had and was really knowledgeable about the entire process. Not only was she great emotional and physical help for me during birth but my husband was so appreciative to have her there as well. We truly couldn’t have done it without her.

My wife wanted a VBAC after a rough first pregnancy with a rare pregnancy disease ending in a c-section after 20 hours of labor. We did not have a doula and were left to navigate a lot of difficult things on our own.

During this recent pregnancy, which was difficult due to severe sickness and a reoccurrence of the rare disease, Meranda was an amazing support to my wife. When the time for active labor came, Meranda was a literal answer to prayer. My wife had all of her birth plans honored, including an unmedicated all-natural birth. I believe this would not have been possible without Meranda right by her side every step of the way.

Meranda goes beyond being a doula. She truly makes you feel seen and heard as if you have been friends for decades. She is gentle when needed but firm and strong when you need that voice of advocacy in your pregnancy/ postpartum journey. I felt so cared for beyond a physical level. My spiritual and emotional needs were carefully listened to which was something that was very important to me. I had to navigate unexpected challenges this pregnancy, one of them having a breeched babe who did not want to turn! Meranda attended my ECV with me at the crack of dawn and stayed with me the entire time. She helped to calm my nerves, recite my affirmations, and overall be a covering for me. It was successful and I was able to go on to have the vaginal birth I desired! Her care went beyond the birth and I could not recommend her enough for any mama!! 

 My husband and I hired Meranda to help us with the birth of our first baby. I’m so so thankful that we did! She met with us during my pregnancy and gave us tons of great information and helped us make a birth plan. I ended up being induced and she was there every step of the way to encourage, inform, confirm, and hold space during labor and delivery. She was an absolute champ and I can’t imagine what we would’ve done without her. I can’t recommend her highly enough!
